Off the back of the global success of Death In Paradise, Spring 2023 saw the release of the spin-off series Beyond Paradise on BBC 1 and Britbox in the US.
Beyond Paradise stars Kris Marshall, re-visiting his role as bumbling genius DI Humphrey Goodman, now looking to build a life after the Caribbean alongside fiancé Martha - this time in the countryside idyll of the Devon Coast – only to find himself embroiled in a slew of local mysteries involving long-dead witches, alien crop circles and mysterious disappearing families.
Season One had the highest viewing figures on British TV during its 6 part run, averaging 7.8 million each week, rivaling Season 12 of Death in Paradise for the top spot.
Season Two and a Christmas Special have now been commissioned for 2023/24.
